Creating VAST Tags In The Media Library

Learn how to VAST tags in the media library that can be easily accessed on every video placement in your UpRival account.

Within the media library, you can create VAST tags. When doing so, the tag details will need to contain the following information:

ID Number – which cannot be changed
Name – which can be changed on the left side of the screen, by clicking the red “Rename” button
Media Type – select whether this is a linear video ad, non-linear banner ad, or 3rd part VAST URL
Video File URL – enter the video file URL or upload a video by clicking on the upload icon
Destination URL – enter the destination click or URL link for the ad
Video Duration – set the amount of time the ad will play for

You can also select the delivery type (progressive or streaming), input the video bitrate, or enable up to five companion ads – as shown below.
