Turn Targeting Profiles On or Off

Learn how to easily turn a targeting profile on or off.

To turn an existing targeting profile on, go to “Profile Templates” and click the “Edit” icon. Mark the checkbox in the “Online” column for the profile you want to activate. When the “Online” box is checked, ALL of the conditions for that profile must be met for the ad or ad group to be served. In the following example, both profiles are on:

To turn off an existing profile, click the “Online” checkbox to deselect it. All conditions in profiles that are marked offline will be ignored. In this example, both profiles are off:

If more than one profile is marked online, then all the conditions of either profile must be met for the ad or ad group to be served. If no profiles are marked online, then the ad or ad group will always be served, and any targeting profiles will be ignored. In this example, only the first profile is on:
